Full Job Description

We are currently looking for a Student Services / Learner Enrolment officer to join our team on a fixed term (Maternity Cover) from August 2024. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive engagement to all learners through the delivery of information, advice, guidance. You will put our learners are at the forefront of your activity, ensuring eligibility and suitability for enrolment, whilst providing key on-programme information and conducting enrolments in a professional, clear, and concise manner. This is a fixed term role for 14 months.,

  • Provide information, advice and guidance throughout the learner journey

  • Supporting learners and employers through the enrolment process

  • Liaising with the Business Development team regarding progress on enrolments/bookings

  • Compliance checking enrolment paperwork and documents to ensure they meet eligibility requirements

  • Update and maintain learner records

  • Using Email/Phone/WhatsApp Business to contact learners regarding the status of their enrolment and chasing any relevant documentation

  • Handling sensitive data and documentation whilst complying with GDPR

  • Processing enrolments via the NGTC website for multiple funding streams

  • Working with existing employers to keep in touch regarding progress with staff enrolments/bookings

  • Liaising with other departments/colleagues regarding expected learner numbers/course attendance

  • Monitoring and tracking attendance on courses

  • Inputting eligible learners onto NGTC's virtual learning environment on the website

  • Utilising the NGTC website features to keep in touch with learners and send relevant IAG

  • Assisting with student services queries via shared inbox

  • Ensure guidance from Ofsted, DfE, ESFA and any other relevant stakeholder is adhered to at all times

  • ICT Qualification (to Level 2 or equivalent)

  • Numeracy and literacy skills (to level 2 or equivalent).

  • A qualification in providing Information, Advice & Guidance

    Other information Any offers of appointment will be conditional and subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, a certificate of good conduct if applicable, plus receipt of satisfactory employment references, Occupational Health clearance, an understanding of safeguarding and qualifications verification. An Enhanced DBS check is required for this position as you will be working within 'Regulated Activity' within a specific place.
