Full Job Description

To achieve this, we are looking for a Maintenance Delivery Technician to join our team to provide industry leading customer experiences within the infrastructure maintenance arena. You'll be working with multiskilled teams to meet our customer service and regulatory requirements, you'll support the team's capabilities where possible to ensure the stretching outcomes are established, and maintained with appropriate recognition and performance management practices., Working with multiskilled teams to meet our customer service and regulatory requirements, you'll support the team's capabilities where possible to ensure the stretching outcomes are established, and maintained with appropriate recognition and performance management practices.

A little bit about your skills, experience and behaviours

Carry out planned and reactive work, investigate faults and promote remedial work.

Provide technical support to the Maintenance Delivery Lead and associated team members including

Deploying data loggers in the water network system for monitoring both pressure and flow

Fault finding of sensor units (loggers) installed for pressure and flow monitoring to ensure that availability and operability targets are achieved

Analyse pressure and flow data.

Liaise with contractors and network partners to ensure that new and existing assets are operating and commissioned correctly

Use available IT systems to record the assets, the maintenance history and time spent operating and maintaining the assets.

Carry out customer impact surveys and provide data to Maintenance Delivery Lead for detailed analysis of new schemes

Planned valve operations including pre/post maintenance operation flushing /System re-zoning

Provide advanced skills in the optimisation of the control valve assets and the wider water networks system.

Carry out servicing of control valve assets in line with industry guidelines.

Completion of risk assessments and where necessary impact plans for all network operations.

Ensure compliance with POSWSH, RWI and other AW procedures.
