Full Job Description

The role of the Marketing Manager is to play a pivotal role in driving the success of the varied and rapidly growing brands within Trek-Group. With a hands-on and adaptable approach, they will collaborate closely with business leaders across the group to advance brand awareness and profitability by delivering a range of online and offline activities.

Specific Responsibilities of the Marketing Manager:

Expected responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing the marketing team and multiple channels across a range of companies

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders, including key media, partners and suppliers

  • Planning and delivering events (internal and external, B2B and B2C)

  • Securing editorial opportunities and pitching ideas to journalists/publications

  • Creating and distributing internal and external newsletters

  • Creating, maintaining and developing websites, brochures, price guides etc.

  • Creating digital content and managing social media

  • Media planning and buying (print and digital)

  • Managing PPC, SEO and social ads

  • Management of sponsorship and influencer relationships

    A minimum of five years marketing experience at senior level.

  • Excellent management skills and the ability to deliver multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Experience of adapting content for different audiences to maximise impact and ROI.

  • Event management experience and knowledge of the equestrian industry/events.

  • Extensive experience of stakeholder management and the ability to engage people across a large diverse organisation.

  • Ability to monitor social media outside of your normal working hours

  • An ongoing commitment to keep up to date with developments in marketing and evidence of continued professional development (CIM qualification/membership desirable).

  • A proven track record of delivering successful campaigns and implementing B2B and B2B strategies., Marketing Manager: 5 years (required)
