Full Job Description

The Marketing Manager- Stores is a key role in marketing our new store activities and store support programme, working cross functionally to deliver the best plans to maximise the opportunities locally. You will also build awareness of the brand, manage key stakeholders, and support the FOH activity, ensuring both roles are multiskilled.,

  • Responsible for delivering the marketing requirements of our new store opening programme and our 'store support programme that drives the performance in our underperforming stores.

  • Measure and review the success of our store performance through the hurdle programme and implement the hurdle marketing strategy to support. Reviewing and collating data to make accurate decisions is imperative to ensure we are reaching the right customers and achieving the right results.


  • Be the key gateway into marketing for retail operations - building key relationships, influencing and getting buy in to ensure local activity is adopted. This involves creating and delivering presentations confidently to all levels across the business.


  • Deliver the marketing plans to support our new store opening programme in both the UK and ROI, including the buying and creative for local media. Visting stores will also be required to engage with the community.


  • Effectively manage the local budget to forecast whilst always looking for efficiencies


  • Lead and develop colleagues through regular feedback/engagement and supported personal development through one and ones/checkins


  • Contribute to the development of a skilled and empowered marketing team who can deliver customer centric capabilities at pace independently, Our Head Office is in Yeovil, Somerset: a beautiful location in the heart of the West Country.   • A deep understanding of the retail environment and retail operations

  • Commercial acumen, able to interpret and present complex information and recommend actions

  • Strong stakeholder management across multiple departments

  • Budget management

  • Building presentations and presenting confidently

  • Being able to understand and evaluate business data

  • Creative eye preferred

  • A good understanding of the local media environment

  • Able to identify what needs to be done and doesn't wait for instruction to make the right thing happen

  • Able to engage effectively with Dofs and peers

  • A strong communicator - able to clearly articulate plans

  • Not essential, previous experience in retail, marketing or commercial roles would be beneficial

  • Driving Licence required
