Full Job Description

The Operations Manager is responsible for the planning and organisation of the engineer response team activities, ensuring your team have the correct equipment and information to complete all works safely and efficiently and ensuring that work is completed within the required timescale.

You will have responsibility for company vehicles and plant within the Depot, making sure they are calibrated and serviced correctly with the support of their transport division.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has previously held a supervisory position and is looking to progress into a management role.

This is predominantly an office based role however a company van is provided to enable you to work on various sites as and when required.

You must also have excellent IT skill with the ability to use all Microsoft packages.

- Previous drainage / utilities experience and experience of liaising and leading a team

- Ability to schedule work to ensure maximum productivity and optimum asset usage

- A full driving licence is also required

Knowledge of health and safety is essential, and experience within the drainage, construction, civil engineering, waste or utilities, service industry or reactive maintenance industries would be an advantage. You must also be IT literate and hold a full driving licence.

You may have experience of the following: Operations Manager, Engineering, Maintenance, Drainage, Reactive Maintenance, Construction, Facilities Maintenance, Civil Engineering, Utilities, Facilities Manager etc.,

  • Operations management: 1 year (preferred)
