Full Job Description

We're looking for an Optometrist to work part-time two days per week on Mondays and Saturdays and can offer every other Thursday. For any Optoms interested in a Mobile role we could also offer additional hours to support our Didcot and Bicester practices.

We're a Freestanding practice with 1 testing room, benefiting from brilliant equipment including a Phoropter and OCT to support us in our journey to provide the best service to our customers and patients.

You will join our amazing team of 10 which includes another Resident Optometrist, a CLO and DO, led by our brilliant Hub Manager Chris Gilson., As an Optometrist with us you'll be providing excellent customer and patient care. Working alongside the Practice Manager, Optical Teams and Clinical Governance Optometrists. You'll create a culture where everyone is passionate about doing the right thing.

  • Using your passion for delivering patient care you'll work with colleagues to deliver a positive customer journey.

  • Bringing your vibrant personality into the day to day running of the practice - working with your colleagues to ensure everything runs smoothly

  • Building longstanding relationships - not only with colleagues and customers but with healthcare professionals in the local community

    Fully qualified / soon to be GOC registered Optometrist

  • Additional registration with the relevant NHS body

  • Fluent speaking English

  • Passion for patient care

    Fantastic package available, with salary up to £65K + a welcome bonus of up to £10K + attractive performance related bonus up to £1200 per quarter
