Full Job Description

The Hub team already has four People Advisors working together to provide expert HR and ER support on all people queries, and we are now looking for a People Administrator to join the team and take ownership of our essential administration processes that are at the heart of delivering a brilliant employee experience. This is a busy and varied role, working closely with the People Advisors on a range of HR queries, supporting recruitment, induction, probation, contract changes, end of contract procedures and leave requests.,

  • Working closely with the People Advisors to provide a comprehensive HR service

  • Processing all team member lifecycle paperwork including new starters, changes and leavers efficiently and accurately

  • Becoming a subject matter expert on the PureGym HR and Payroll system to ensure that opportunities for optimisation are identified and communicated to constantly promote efficiency and accuracy

  • Delivering all routine people reports to other functions

  • Assisting with the evolution and delivery of key reports and MI to both the operators and people team within UK Gym Operations

  • Carrying out key activity such as manager induction check ins, prompts about probation reviews and exit interviews to gain valuable insights on how it feels to work for PureGym and suggest improvements

  • Working as a team to share best practice, apply it in a standardised way and constantly challenge the status quo, applying a continuous improvement mindset at all times

  • Building strong working relationships with the Divisional People Business Partners to ensure communication levels are high and that each division is provided routine insight to drive proactive activity to help reduce the reactive workload.

  • Supporting the People Advisors with letter writing, note taking or evidence collation linked to case management

  • Support the Employee Relations Manager with ad hoc projects

  • Ideally some relevant HR administrative experience

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • The ability to handle a varied workload with competing demands and deadlines

  • Passionate about delivering a high level of customer service and maintaining complete confidentiality

  • Able to plan and prioritise own workload

  • A focus on teamwork with a positive can-do attitude
