Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Personal Assistant to join us where you will be reporting directly to a small team of directors in the Senior Leadership Team within HR and Employee Communication.

The successful candidate can be based in one of our UK offices. The role qualifies for hybrid working, with a combination of office and home working. You will be required to attend the office at least 2 days per week (Full-time office working is available if preferred). Travel to various offices will be required, primarily Birmingham and Warrington.

You will be providing support to three members of the Senior Management in the HR and Employee Communication directorate team, acting as a primary point of contact and carrying out a range of administrative duties to support the Directors and the delivery of business objectives.

What you'll be leading on

  • Diary Management including day-today meetings, travel planning and expenses.

  • Act as the first point of contact for the Directors, assist managing mail and calls, ensuring that these are prioritised, deadlines are considered, and appropriate action is taken.

  • Undertake ad hoc administrative duties as and when required, ensuring accurate, timely delivery.

  • Arrange meetings and events giving effective and efficient use of time and cost; maintain and update action logs for all meetings.

  • Manage personal workload in a way which is efficient and effective.

    Experience of working in an administration or personal assistant role.

  • Experience with diary management and organising events.

  • Ability to use office software products to produce and maintain a range of documents and spreadsheets.

  • Confident and capable of multi-tasking on a day-to-day basis.

  • Understanding and navigating financial and procurement ways of working or willingness to learn.

  • Experience communicating and engaging with a broad range of stakeholders at all levels.
