Full Job Description
- Work safely within occupational health, safety and environmental controls
- Use tools and equipment to install plasterboard
- Use appropriate tools and equipment for internal surfaces and produce solid plastering finishes including two coat and skimming on plasterboard
- Finish drylining joints using jointing and taping

The training you will be getting
You will work with the employer Monday to Thursday and attend Resources NE Ltd on a Friday for day release training.
You will receive the Level 2 Plastering apprenticeship standard qualification when you pass your end point assessment.
With experience, you could move to a supervisory job, or into related areas like tiling, dry lining, estimating and site management., Attention to detail, Customer care skills, Team working, Initiative, Patience, GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4 (C) or above) Desired

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
Minimum Wage Rates
A typical working week will be Monday - Thursday between the hours of 8.00am - 6.00pm with Fridays spent with the training provider from 9.00am - 4.00pm covering a minimum of 30 hours., You could reduce your training time, or finish your apprenticeship faster, if you have relevant prior learning or experience.
