Full Job Description

The specialist will focus on the Power Platform and SharePoint Online and will also be expected to have a wider ranging knowledge around the general M365 environment including but not exclusively use of Admin portals, Azure Portal and deploying policy changes, The is primarily a developer position, focused on delivering new capabilities and automating processes that will improve, upgrade and optimise the legacy systems and processes currently in place.

The specialist will focus on the Power Platform and SharePoint Online and will also be expected to have a wider ranging knowledge around the general M365 environment including but not exclusively use of Admin portals, Azure Portal and deploying policy changes.

As a PowerPlatform Specialist working in the London School of Economics, you will:

  • Delivering the design and development of solutions to automate business processes using Power Platform

  • Translate business requirements as described in user stories into working solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform

  • Communicate and translate process automation requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Engaging across the business to understand user and business requirements and application software development needs

  • Undertake regular audit of platform processes and artefacts and make/execute recommendations for improvement

    Experience developing and implementing new PowerApps model driven and canvas apps as well as enhancing existing apps to automate business processes, within the Microsoft ecosystem. Including the use of Dataverse as a data source and other data sources.

  • Extensive experience in the Microsoft Power Platform development, e.g., PowerFx, M365 Add-ins, PowerApps, Power Automate, SharePoint Online, Azure logic apps and Azure functions.

  • Understanding M365 collaboration and productivity apps, such as SharePoint administration and configuration, such as SharePoint site structure and permissions architecture.

  • Multi-platform support and App development and integration and the ability to create custom connectors for Microsoft Power Platform.

    Up to 40,229 to 48,456 per annum + possible discretionary 5,000 allowance
