Full Job Description

  • Preparation of statutory accounts


  • Preparation of corporation tax returns


  • Preparation of VAT returns


  • Preparation of management accounts for certain clients


  • Acting as point of contact for a pre-existing portfolio of clients


  • Supporting team members

    This role would suit a practice accountant with at least 3 years' experience in the production of statutory accounts and other related services. Perhaps an AAT qualified accountant, or early stages ACCA studier looking to take on a client portfolio in a friendly and inclusive business environment.,
  • Able to work as part of a team and use own initiative

  • Be able to work effectively to deadlines

  • Be personable and friendly when dealing with customers and colleagues


    • Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 A-C/4-9 GCSE's including Maths and English

  • ACCA / ACA Part Qualified / Level 3 AAT Complete / Qualified by experience

  • Analytical and numerically minded

  • Resilient and persistent

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office (support provided if required), Accounting: 3 years (required)

  • Microsoft Excel: 5 years (required)

  • Accounting software: 3 years (required)

    You will join a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants who offer a range of accountancy and taxation services. This role will focus on the production of statutory accounts for the firms' clients, you would work with clients from a variety of industries with a range of turnovers.
