Pre-school Manager

· Lead and oversee the management of the pre-school.

· Direct, lead and inspire our staff team to ensure we provide a creative, stimulating, caring and safe environment which enables each child to develop to their full potential.

· To promote, as appropriate, the Christian ethos that regards each individual as special to God. As a church led community Pre-school with a strong Christian ethos, there is an Occupational Requirement for the Pre-school Manager to be a committed Christian and a member of either Testwood Baptist Church or a Christian church recognised by the trustees of Testwood Baptist Church. This is in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.

An opportunity has arisen for a caring and enthusiastic professional to lead the dedicated team of practitioners within our pre-school.,

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)


Experience:

• Early childhood education: 2 years (preferred)


• Management: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
  
  For more than three decades, Testwood Baptist Church has been dedicated to operating a pre-school, driven by the commitment to provide compassionate care for children in their early years. The pre-school is fuelled by a genuine passion to foster growth, nurture, and provide profound care for each child in attendance. Going beyond merely tending to the needs of the children, the preschool actively seeks opportunities to support and encourage parents on their parenting journey.   This will be a permanent term time only position, 34 hours across 4½ days per week, 4 days 8am - 4pm (30mins lunch break) and one day 8am- 12 noon. Pay range £13.60 - £15.00 per hour depending on experience; actual salary equivalent including 5.6 weeks paid leave £20,625 - £22,746 per annum., Interviews to be held as soon as possible following closing date.
