Full Job Description

We have a great opportunity at MMC for a Part Qualified Revenue & FX Accountant to join the Revenue Team based in Witham.

As a member of the Revenue & FX team, you will be a pro-active and results driven individual able to balance multiple deliverables and prioritise your work whilst satisfying a strict control environment by retaining the highest standards of governance. Ideally you will have experience in working within a busy shared services function of a similar organisation.

This role could suit an experienced Part Qualified Finance/Accounts Assistant looking for a new challenge within a Global organisation with great career and development opportunities.

This role is office based in Witham but does offer hybrid working.

  • Balance sheet reconciliation review & approval

  • Revenue system interface checking

  • Intercompany loan entries and reconciliations

  • Hedging entries and reconciliations

  • Foreign Exchange analysis

  • Foreign Currency exposure reporting

  • Foreign Currency trading in line with exposures

  • Bad Debt calculations and reconciliations

  • Cancellation reserves and reconciliations

  • Revenue accrual & deferral analysis

  • Fiduciary reconciliations to sub ledger

  • Project code analysis

  • AD Hoc project work as required

    Part/Qualified ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience.

  • Intermediate skills in Excel

  • Flexible and team player - able to develop close partnerships with onshore and offshore colleagues.

  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and deliver results to short timescales.

  • Previous proven ability to identify areas to improve efficiency, accuracy and analysis and suggest and implement process improvements.


  • What makes you stand out:
  • Prior experience of Oracle and HFM (preferred but not essential).

  • Experience in large organization or service center.

  • Experience working with foreign currency.
