Position overview: Our client are seeking a motivated Senior Architectural Technician or Technologist to join their team. This senior level position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, expand your skill set and contribute to the success of the company. As a Senior Architectural Tech you will work closely with a highly experienced team of Architects and Technologists, be given your own projects to run and be involved in the whole lifecycle of projects from conception to completion.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, planning and execution of residential projects
  • Conduct site visits and surveys
  • Prepare architectural drawings, plans and specifications using Revit.
  • Oversee all technical aspects of your projects ensuring compliance with regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including engineers, contractors and clients.
  • Participate and potentially chair design and technical meetings, attend site visits and prepare client presentations.
  • Support the wider project team in project management and coordination tasks.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices and technical advancements in Architecture.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Architectural Technology or a related field.
  • Strong commercial experience and a demonstrable portfolio of work with ideally a focus on later living/large scale residential projects.
  • Proficiency in Revit software and other architectural tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and team working abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Ideally you will have a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in a private practice environment.
