Full Job Description

As a Senior Business Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient service delivery and supporting our team in meeting the needs of our community. The successful candidate will be part of a highly motivated team, working closely with a range of professionals and communicating with a variety of stakeholders and colleagues at all levels. Delivering an effective service and outcomes for our Children and Young People. This will include a high level of support to the team in relation to gathering data and fulfilling a management administrative role within meetings and supporting panels as required.,

  • Provide high-quality administrative support, offering creative solutions to operational challenges.

  • Lead and motivate a team of Business Officers, ensuring their success through regular coaching and support, and overseeing their daily activities and workloads.

  • Coordinate and support ongoing projects, contributing to the continuous improvement of our services.

  • Collaborate with other Senior Business Officers to maintain consistency and excellence in our practices.

  • Support changes that impact the Business Support workforce and provide advice to service/team managers and their teams - reallocating resources as required

    You will be an organised, calm, and proactive person who is motivated to work independently and as part of the wider team to achieve positive outcomes for children and young people. You will also have:

  • Strong management skills as you will be line managing staff.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Experienced in Windows and Microsoft packages.

  • Experienced in minute-taking and administrative support.

  • Exceptional team-working abilities with a knack for influencing and leading others.

  • A positive, can-do attitude with a commitment to learning and professional growth.

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage workload effectively.

  • A customer-focused approach and the ability to build strong working relationships.

  • Be willing to share your knowledge and experience with your colleagues, Disability Confident
