Full Job Description

He / she will be responsible to manage portofolio of small / medium service contracts to deliver a safe & legal working environment consistently and successfully, all contractual KPI's on time and within budget.

To mentor, guide, monitor and develop the teams in a way that promotes Dematic values and behaviours whilst supporting the requirements and activities of our customers to deliver in full, on time, every time.

Recognise the customers values and what is critical to quality for the customer to succeed and provide an environment and framework of service excellence in which these targets can be achieved.,

  • Ensure compliance with the company Health & Safety policy in all concerned sites.

  • Ensure full utilization of DMMS for all Safety Critical Maintenances.

  • Promote and ensure near miss reporting

  • Carry out and record required site safety tours / audits

  • Ensure all contractors utilised are approved by Dematic

  • Ensure that foreseeable tasks are identified in a register and relevant Risk Assessments and Method Statements are created and adhered to.

  • Ensure all Health & Safety documentation is current, where required scheduled for review and readily available.


  • Operation :
  • Resolve day-to-day issues as they arise,escalation as required via the correct channelsfor all concerned sites

  • Use data driven analysis to resolve conflicting views

  • Ensure full utilization of DMMS for all maintenance types and spares management.

  • Ensure all Safety Critical PPM's are completed before or on the due date, all exceptions to be documented and reported.

  • Promote, support and propagate the standardisation / harmonisation of maintenance practices.

  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards to the site i.e. EN258.

  • Ensure compliance with Dematic standards.

  • Plan and organize resources

  • Ensure adoption of tools & respect of the procedures of his / her personnel

  • Engage and manage 3rd Parties

  • Complete annual reviews with all staff within the company timelinesfor all the assigned site Teams.

  • Review development needs of the site technicians in line with site specific and Dematic business requirements.

  • Implement a succession planning model to ensure continued quality of employees and service delivery to the customer.

  • Promote a positive working environment through engagement and develop a strategy unique to the site that maximizes staff retention


  • Financials :
  • Deliver budget and demonstrate cost control within contractual guidelines forall concerned sites

  • Maintain all relevant service records and ensure they are readily available.


  • Customer :
  • Understand and focus on exceeding customer's expectationsof all concerned sites

  • Deliver a proactive customer service anticipating problems and offering solutions for prevention.

  • Gather customer satisfaction feedback, track and trend the results.

  • Build a trusted and dependant relationship with the customer.


  • General :
  • Own projects execution, including cross-functional coordination of engineering, procurement, shipping logistics, field / outage execution and performance demonstration.

  • Provide Leadership, effectively managing and facilitating cross-functional Dematic / Kion teams to ensure on time delivery, contract deliverables fulfilment, and margin attainment / enhancement.

  • Understand and implement Contract Terms & Conditions.

  • Manage project financials : price, cost, forecasts, margin, invoicing, and receivables. Manage contract risk provisions.

  • Stakeholder management and communication including Customer, Vertical, Senior Management, Functions, other Departments

  • Provide project status updates and lead Project Reviews as required.

    Project Management experience in large scale services projects for Logistic Market or particularly complex extended scope service contract

  • Good knowledge of English language

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Global service experience and ability to lead projects in cross functional and international teams

  • Knowledge of Logistic products, services and associated markets

  • Broad commercial and negotiation knowledge and experience

  • Understanding of business and project financials (orders, sales, CM, OM, Pacing, Margin Review, Cash)

  • Strong analytical, project management organizational skills

  • Embraces and demonstrates sensitivity to culture of customer and internal team members.

  • Experience interpreting or applying Contract terms & conditions and binding agreements

  • Willingness and Ability to travel
