Full Job Description

Lead the EE integration task to deliver the EE integration content on vehicle programmes.,

  • Owns the delivery of the FIP for defined programmes.

  • Is the technical lead and drum beat of the project.

  • Through regular reviews, ensures on time delivery (through software release planning).

  • Drives issue resolution and, where required, mitigation plans.

  • Represents EE in engineering and technical reviews.

  • Directs the workload of the integration team for the given programmes.

  • Defines the work package scope for outsourced integration partners.

    Experience leading a technical team deliver complex, distributed EE functions.

  • Experience of automotive software and integration project delivery.

  • Knowledge of, or experience in delivering Electrical or Electronics commodities (HD & SW).

  • Knowledge of Product Development Cycle from concept to launch completion.

  • Knowledge of software/feature fault diagnosis.

  • Experience of working in a cross functional team to tackle complex issue resolution.

  • Communication and influencing skills.

  • Experience of automotive pre-production build environments.

  • Experience of Electrical Engineering vehicle fleet support.

  • Must be able to manage large workloads in a high-pressure environment and prioritise accordingly.

  • Confident and concise presenter.

  • Experience in designing and managing EE Architecture deliveries (Networks/Requirements)

  • Knowledge of automotive development systems e.g. releasing, concerns, containments, gateways and sign off documentation.

  • Experience of more than one of the following commodities is preferred: infotainment, audio, cluster & displays, tracker & e-call, antennas, switchgear, lighting, camera & PDCs, body electronics, power management, EDS.

  • Supplier management experience.

  • Technical engineering background and a knowledge of using calculation and analysis to drive design.

  • Knowledge of the manufacturing processes to create and assemble components or systems.

  • Knowledge of automotive quality tools and processes.
