Solar PV Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing domestic and commercial electrical systems. This is a full-time sub contract position with competitive pay.

Duties:

- Install solar panel systems including inverters and battery storage systems
- Install electrical systems and components, including wiring, lighting fixtures, outlets, and circuit breakers

- Carry our EICRS
- Inspect electrical systems and equipment to identify issues and determine necessary repairs
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used

Electrician required for a leading Solar PV installator of Renewable Energy Systems. Suitable candidates will have experience with solar installations for commercial and residential projects.

Ideal candidates would have City and Guilds 18th Edition and City & Guilds Inspection and Testing or equivalent qualifications with extensive knowledge of the solar industry. Must be qualified to install Solar systems under the MCS scheme.

Day-to-day duties include Solar installs, EICRs or remedial work. A large majority of work will be based in South Wales., Proven experience as an Electrician and solar system installer
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and components
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and testing equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus
