Support Workers

We are looking for friendly, reliable, and flexible individuals to support a kind and laid back 32-year-old male with a Learning Disability in Oxford.

You will be a lone worker, supporting the client to engage in meaningful activities in the community and doing things he enjoys such as going for walks, trips to the cinema and watching football games. Your role will also include supporting the client to complete daily activities such as cooking or attending appointments. The client lives at home with his family and has a good support network.

Hours of Work: 8 hours per week. This will be split into 4-hour shifts on a Tuesday and Thursday. Hours to be discussed at interview, however you may need to be flexible with start times depending on the activity the client wishes to do.

• A full clean driving licence with business insurance is essential.


• Experience of supporting people with Learning Disability and/or health needs is desirable, however full training & supervision will be given.


• Effective communication.


• Interests in visiting new places


This post will be subject to an enhanced DBS check. You will also be asked to provide two references.
