Full Job Description

Required as soon as possible or for a September start, a PLC Co-ordinator to join our team of staff in the SEND Department of Chichester High School. This diverse role involves working flexibly to support students with Autism and social communication difficulties, in our 10-place personal work zone facility. This role will also involve supporting the individual students on a one to one basis and supporting their inclusion in lessons, as well as working closely with their teachers to keep the students up to date with the curriculum and their studies.

An aptitude for literacy and/or numeracy and previous experience of working in a school would be an advantage. GCSE Grade 4 (C and above) in English and Mathematics or equivalent are essential for this post.

Holding an E.L.S.A. qualification could be an advantage as will holding qualifications in understanding and supporting children with Autism.
