Full Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Sales Executive with a proven track record, to join our Volkswagen dealership in Farnham, Hampshire. Working as part of an experienced team and reporting to the Sales Manager, you will put your sales expertise to use in a busy customer-facing environment. Customer satisfaction and Loyalty is the key to your success and we will encourage you to build relationships with our existing customers. What do we expect from you as Sales executive?
Our Sales Executives represent both Martins Group and Volkswagen. They become part of a sales team that is both united by their experienced and yet diverse in personality and background. You will meet with customers that make their enquiries face to face, over the phone or via the internet. You will manage these enquiries with courtesy and professionalism, resulting in vehicle, finance and insurance product sales. You will then guarantee an excellent customer experience before and during the vehicle collection, ensuring that all options are tailored to the customer needs and lifestyle.

On a day to day basis you will:

  • Make regular contact with new and existing customers to maintain a supporting relationship.

  • Offer advice and guidance to our existing finance customers as they reach the end of their current contracts. Appointing as many as possible to the showroom so that they may discuss in great detail the options available to them.

  • Respond to incoming queries quickly, efficiently and professionally.

  • Guide customers through their Used car purchases, providing outstanding customer service as a representative of both Martins and Volkswagen.

  • Achieve both individual and Team sales targets by maximising the upsell opportunities from finance insurance products and accessories.

  • Maintain an outstanding knowledge of the Volkswagen range of vehicles and options, by completing regular training sessions online and at training centres.

  • Offer a fully compliant process, adhering to all industry regulations relating to the sale of vehicles, finance and insurance.

    At least 2 years of experience in a Franchised Dealership is expected. Volkswagen, or VAG Group experience is a distinct advantage, but is not essential.

  • A proven record of achieving targets and self-motivation.

  • Negotiation and Influencing skills providing the ability and confidence to convert enquiries in to sales

  • You should be both articulate and numerate.

  • You will capable of embracing new / cutting edge technologies and be able to demonstrating them enthusiastically and in great detail.
