Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester

We are currently seeking a skilled MOT Tester/ Vehicle Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for conducting vehicle inspections carrying out service and repairs to a high standard in out well equipped workshop.

Responsibilities:
- Perform MOT tests on cars and light commercial vehicles
- Inspect vehicles for safety and environmental compliance

- Carry out service repairs and diagnostic testing on a wide range of vehicles
- Identify and report any faults or defects found during the inspection process
- Use a variety of tools and equipment to conduct inspections, including power tools and hand tools
- Maintain accurate records of all tests performed
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining test results and answering any questions or concerns
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety guidelines

Previous experience as an MOT Tester is required
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
- Familiarity with using power tools and hand tools
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify faults or defects
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
